I have been running this place at Nehru Chowk for a long time now. It is right near Dubai Shoes, which everyone around here knows. Most days start early because the market gets crowded pretty fast. People walk by all day and we just handle whatever comes through the door. It is a simple setup and we don't have fancy stuff here. We just focus on the daily work and keeping things moving. My family has been around this area for years, so we know most of the people who pass by. It gets quite loud with the traffic and the shoppers outside, but you get used to it after a while. Sometimes the rain makes it a bit messy around the chowk, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop or anything like that. We just do our business and go home. There is always something to fix or a customer to talk to. Most of the time it is just standard routine stuff that needs doing. Being near Dubai Shoes helps people find us when they get lost. It is a landmark that everyone recognizes. We just try to keep things honest and straightforward. No big claims or anything. Just a regular business in a busy part of town. We see the same faces every week and that is how it goes. It is just life here in the market and we are glad to be part of it.
