St Lawrence International School

St Lawrence International School sits out on Umbarda Road. If you are in Kalyan City, you probably already know the way around here. It’s part of the wider Thane area, specifically the 421301 zone. We have a fairly straightforward building that isn't hidden away or anything; it’s right there on the road for everyone to see. The staff usually comes in early and we end up leaving quite late most days. Kalyan is a busy city, and Umbarda Road has its own specific rhythm. We see a lot of different students coming through these doors every year. The school ground has enough room for everyone to move around without feeling too cramped. We don't spend much time on fancy brochures or marketing stuff. Instead, we just focus on the daily lessons and making sure the building is kept in okay shape. It can get quite warm in the afternoons, but we just have our routine to deal with that. Living and working in Kalyan means being part of a pretty tight community. People talk to each other, and that's usually how others hear about what we are doing. We are just a group of people running a school on this particular road. There isn't much more to it than that. We have our desks, our books, and the daily bell. It’s just a lot of management and keeping things in order.
