You will find us located out on Manor Road in Village Vevoor, which falls under the Palghar District. St. John College Of Engineering And Technologyst. John Technical Campus is actually part of a much larger technical campus we have here. It is a bit of a distance from the main railway station, so most people rely on local transport or the buses to get to the gates. The air feels a lot fresher out here than it does in the middle of Mumbai. Our buildings are spread out quite a bit, which gives everyone some much-needed breathing room. We have plenty of workshops where the students get their hands dirty working with actual machines and tools. It is not always a clean or shiny environment; there is usually some grease and dust around, but that is just the reality of engineering. The canteen tends to be the main hangout spot where everyone catches up on news. We have a mix of students from all over the region, with some staying in the hostels and others commuting every day. The staff handles everything from the initial admissions to fixing any broken benches in the classrooms. It is a lot of daily management that most people never really see. We don't use any fancy language to talk about what we do. We just want the students to learn something useful before they leave us. Palghar gets a lot of rain, which makes it interesting.
