SPM Machines (India)

SPM Machines (India) operates out of D-133 in the TTC Industrial Area. We are right there on the Thane-Belapur Road in Nerul, which is a pretty loud and busy part of the world to work in. Our shop floor is usually a bit of a mess with metal shavings and oil, but that’s just how it goes when you’re building special purpose machines. We have a small team of guys who know how to handle the lathes and the milling equipment. It’s not a place where you’d want to wear a nice suit because you’re definitely going to get dirty. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website that gets updated every day. Mostly, people find us because they’re in the Midc Ind Area and they need something specific built that they can't find in a catalog. We spend a lot of time troubleshooting and scratching our heads over technical drawings. It gets pretty hot under the tin roof in the summer, but we have a few fans that keep the air moving. We’ve been in Nerul for quite a while and have seen the industrial area change a lot, but our work stays pretty much the same. We just focus on the machines and try to get them shipped out on time. It’s a straightforward way to make a living and we don't feel the need to dress it up with big words or empty talk.
