Sndt College

Sndt College is located right near Vasai Station in Mumbai. If you know anything about Mumbai, you know how busy it gets around the railway stations. Every morning, the platforms are packed with people, and many of our students come in on the local trains. It is a very short walk from the station to our building, which is handy because the traffic in Vasai can be a bit of a headache. The noise of the trains is something you just get used to after a few days. We are right in the middle of all the action in Maharashtra. Our classrooms are usually full of students from different backgrounds. It is not a very quiet campus because of where we are, but there is a lot of energy. We don't have a fancy campus with huge parks. It is more of a practical building where people come to get their work done and go home. You can find tea stalls and small snack shops all around us, and that is where most of the staff and students spend their breaks. Sometimes the rain in Mumbai makes things a bit messy, especially near the station area, but we manage. We have been part of this Vasai community for a long time. It feels like a small world even though Mumbai is so huge. People just know where the college is. We don't spend money on glossy brochures or big ads. We just focus on the daily classes.
