Simran Beautician

My name is Simran and I run this little beauty shop at Mukund Niwas. It’s right on Manpada Road in Dombivli East, very close to Ranawat Medical. It’s not a big fancy parlor like the ones you see in the malls, just a cozy space where I do my beauty work. I’ve been doing this for a long time now. Most of the women in this part of town know me because I’ve been in this exact spot for years. I do threading, waxing, facials, and some bridal makeup when people ask for it. It’s mostly just me working here, though sometimes I have a girl come in to help when the wedding season gets busy. The shop is small but I make sure to keep everything very clean and organized. I like the independence of having my own little place. It’s hard work being on my feet all day, but I enjoy talking with the ladies who come in. We talk about our families, what’s happening in the neighborhood, and everything else while I work on their hair or skin. It feels more like a community hangout than a business sometimes. Manpada Road is always noisy with cars and bikes, but once you step into my shop, it’s a bit more peaceful. I use products that I’ve tested myself and trust. I don’t have a massive neon sign, people just find me because their friends told them to come here. It's a simple life and it keeps me busy.
