Shree Samart Saloon

Shree Samart Saloon is located in Shop Number 7 of the N S Building. We are on Kalyan Shill Road in Thane. There is a Sai Mandir nearby, so a lot of people use that as a landmark to find us. This road gets very busy with trucks and cars moving between Kalyan and Thane. The shop is small and tucked into the building. I’ve worked here for several years. It’s a basic place for men to get a shave or a haircut. We don't have air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that hums. The walls are painted a simple color. We have the daily newspaper for people to read while they wait. The pin code is 421201. Most of our regulars are guys who live in the surrounding buildings or work at the shops nearby. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy booking system. You just walk in and wait for your turn. Sometimes there's a queue, especially on Sunday mornings. We just keep our heads down and do the cutting. It’s honest work. The mirrors are old but they work fine. We’ve seen the Kalyan Shill Road get wider and busier over time. More buildings are going up every day. But our little shop stays the same. We just keep the scissors moving and chat with whoever sits in the chair. It's a simple life here in Thane, just doing what we know how to do.
