Shree L. R. Tiwari College Of Engineering

Our college is tucked away inside Kanakia Park, which is a pretty well-known spot in Mira Road East. Shree L. R. Tiwari College Of Engineering has been a part of this particular neighborhood for several years now. It can be a bit of a commute for some people, but for those living in the northern suburbs, it is actually quite convenient to get to. The area surrounding Kanakia Park is usually bustling with local shops and people going about their daily business. Our campus is where the students spend the bulk of their day, from those early morning lectures right through to the late lab sessions in the afternoon. We have a small cafeteria that gets really loud during the lunch breaks. The staff offices are usually overflowing with files and registers because we still handle a lot of our work the old-fashioned way. It keeps everyone very busy. We don't have a massive, sprawling campus with gardens, but we use the space we have as well as we can. You will often see students sitting on the entrance steps or hanging out near the main gate between their classes. It is a very normal, everyday kind of atmosphere. No one here is trying to impress anyone else. We just make sure the syllabus is covered and the practical work is finished on time. It gets a little hot in the afternoons, but we have enough fans to keep the air moving.
