Our place is at Plot No. R-664 in the TTC Industrial Area, right there in Rabale. If you know the Thane Belapur Road, you know how the traffic can get, especially during the shift changes at the MIDC. We’ve been operating out of this building for years. It’s an industrial spot, so don't expect any gardens or nice lobbies. The floor is concrete, and there’s usually the hum of machinery in the background while we work on the filters. We deal with a lot of metal mesh and housing units, so it’s quite heavy work. Some days are just spent moving crates from one side of the room to the other to make space for a new arrival. The air feels a bit heavy with the smell of cut metal and grease, but that’s just part of the job in this part of Thane. Most of the staff has been here long enough that they know exactly where every bolt is kept without even looking. We usually have a lot of paperwork to deal with, which stacks up on the small desks near the back. Lunch is usually a quick affair because there’s always a truck waiting to be loaded or a machine that needs checking. It isn't glamorous work, but the filters need to get made, and we stay busy enough keeping up with the daily schedule. The building itself has some stains on the walls from the rain, but it holds up fine.
