S.R. Packaging

S.R. Packaging is located at El-110 in the Electronic Zone of the Mahape M.I.D.C. Industrial Area. This whole area is nothing but rows of industrial buildings and heavy trucks. We fit right in. Our unit is full of rolls of plastic, cardboard, and big rolls of tape. It’s a very functional space. We don't have any decorations on the walls, just calendars and maybe a list of phone numbers taped near the desk. The floor is hard concrete, and we’re on our feet most of the day. Working in Mahape means we’re surrounded by other businesses doing similar things. It’s a lot of noise and movement from morning until evening. We aren't trying to be fancy or modern. Our desks are old, and the chairs squeak a bit, but they work. We spend our time making sure things are packed tight so they don't break. It’s a simple task but it takes all our attention. We have tea breaks together in the corner where the fan works the best. We don't have a mission statement or any of that corporate talk. We just know that the boxes need to be ready by the time the truck arrives. If the machines act up, we spend the afternoon fixing them ourselves. It’s just how it is here. We like the honesty of the work. You can see what you’ve done at the end of every day. It’s a good feeling to see the warehouse empty out.
