Rutus Beauty Concepts

I run Rutus Beauty Concepts out of Sudama Savali, which is Shop Number 5 on Patharli Road. It is a small place in Dombivli East, not too far from the Shiv Temple. On some days, you can hear the bells from the temple quite clearly, which is nice when things get stressful. The shop is pretty simple. I’ve got my mirrors, a couple of chairs, and all my creams and lotions lined up on the shelves. It’s not one of those big fancy "concepts" like the name might suggest; it’s just me and sometimes a helper doing what needs to be done. Most of my day is spent doing eyebrows, facials, or hair oil massages for the ladies who live nearby. Patharli Road stays pretty busy, so there is always dust coming in, and I have to wipe the counters down way more than I’d like. I didn't want a place that felt too formal or stiff. I want people to feel like they can just sit down and relax for a bit while they get their hair done. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a while, and we just have to wait it out or work by the light from the door. It’s just the way things go around here. I’ve been at this spot for a while now, and I know which neighbor likes their coffee strong and who is just here to vent about their day. It’s a small life, but it’s mine.
