Over in Nerul, specifically in Sector 7, you’ll find us as part of the D. Y. Patil campus. It’s a massive area and we are in Phase I. If you’re coming from the station, it’s a quick rickshaw ride or a bit of a walk if the weather is nice. The building is quite tall and has a lot of windows that look out over the cricket stadium. It’s a busy place with thousands of students moving between the floors. The elevators are always packed, so many of us just take the stairs. There’s a lot of energy here, with people working on projects in the corridors or sitting in groups in the canteen. We have a lot of labs filled with computers and equipment that gets used all day long. The staff rooms are usually a bit messy with books and papers, which is how we like it. It feels like a real place where work gets done. You can hear the train whistles from the harbor line if it’s a quiet moment. We don’t really go for anything flashy. The walls have posters for various events, and the floors are worn down from years of footsteps. It’s a typical engineering college vibe where everyone is always rushing to finish something. We just try to keep things organized amidst all the activity. Every day is the same rush.
