Rajiv Gandhi Medical College is situated on Old Belapur Road in Kalwa. This is a very busy part of the region, and being right on the main road means the college is easy for everyone to reach. The college is a large, functional building that sees a lot of people coming and going every single day. We have students arriving from all over the area to attend their lectures and spend time in the labs. It is not the most modern-looking place from the outside, but it serves its purpose for the students. The hallways are often crowded with people in white coats rushing from one department to another. We have different sections spread out across several floors, and it can be a little confusing to find your way around if you are new. The labs are where most of the actual work happens, and they are usually full of equipment and various specimens. It is a serious environment because medical studies take a lot of concentration. We do not have much greenery on the campus, mostly just the buildings and the paved parking areas. The noise from the traffic on Belapur Road is constant, but you stop noticing it after a few days. We do not have many fancy amenities like a gym or a student lounge; it is mostly just classrooms and labs. It is a very practical institution focused on getting the daily work done.
