We’ve got our workshop at C-434 in the Turbhe MIDC area, right by Indira Nagar. If you know Navi Mumbai, you know Turbhe is where all the manufacturing happens. We focus on machinery here. The floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or oil, and it’s never really quiet. We’ve got some big pieces of equipment that take up most of the space. It’s a bit cramped, honestly, but we make it work. Most of the guys here have been working with machines their whole lives. We aren't much for talking; we just like to get the assembly or the repairs done. The building itself is a bit old, and the stairs are steep. Indira Nagar is a busy neighborhood, so there’s always something going on outside our doors. It’s a lot of manual labor and figuring out why a certain part isn't fitting right. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you show up, you’ll probably find someone bent over a machine who will look up when they’re at a good stopping point. We do what we do and we’ve been doing it at this same spot for years. The summer heat makes the workshop pretty stuffy, but we have some big fans going. It’s just a regular factory life. We take pride in the machines we put together, even if we don't say much about it. It’s just how we are.
