Prince Marble & Granite Pvt. Ltd. is tucked away in the Ravi Industries Compound. We are in the Panchpakadi area of Thane, right near the Talwarkar Gym. It’s a bit of an interesting spot because you’ve got people going to work out right next to where we are hauling heavy slabs of stone. The compound is always full of different businesses, so there’s a lot of coming and going. Our inventory is a mix of marble and granite stored here. It’s a tight space sometimes, especially when a big shipment comes in. Organization is key with the forklift to make sure we don’t block anyone’s way. Having the gym nearby means there’s always a bit of life around, even when we’re just sitting having our lunch. We’ve been here in Thane for a while and have seen the neighborhood change a lot. Taller buildings are going up everywhere and everyone wants new flooring. Most of our work is just keeping the slabs safe and getting them loaded onto the trucks without any chips. This physical job keeps us tired, but it’s what we know. A fancy showroom with lights isn't our style; you just see the stone as it is, under the regular lights of the shed or out in the yard. This keeps us busy from morning until we close up for the night.
