My name is Lalsingh Sone. My workspace is inside the Matru Ami building, specifically room C-508. We are located in Joshi Baug, which is in Kalyan West. If you know the area, we are right behind the New High School. You can hear the kids playing and the bells ringing during the day, which keeps things from being too quiet. Kalyan is a busy part of Thane and there is always something happening on the streets outside. Being on the fifth floor gives a bit of a view, but mostly it just means a lot of stairs if the lift is acting up. It’s a decent spot. Not too big, but enough space for what I need to do. I’ve been here for a while and the neighbors in the building are mostly families. It feels more like a home than a corporate office. I usually start my morning early before the traffic downstairs gets too loud. The address is 421301 for the pin code. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped with all the files and things I have to keep track of. I’m not one for fancy decorations, so it’s just plain walls and a sturdy desk. I find it easier to focus that way. Kalyan West has changed a lot since I first came here, but Joshi Baug still feels like the same old neighborhood. I spend most of my time right here at the desk.
