Kapish Ceramic

Kapish Ceramic is located in Gala No. 7, right opposite Soham Garden in the Chitalsar area of Manpada. Being across from the garden is nice because it gives us a bit of a landmark for people who are trying to find us in the middle of all the shops and galas. Inside our space, it’s mostly stacks of boxes filled with ceramic items and tiles. It isn't a huge place, but we make the most of every square inch of the gala. We spend a lot of time opening boxes, checking for cracks, and helping people figure out what might look okay in their house. It’s not a high-pressure environment at all. We mostly just sit here, chat with the neighbors, and wait for the next delivery to arrive. The area of Manpada is always pretty active, and Chitalsar has its own rhythm with people coming and going from the residential buildings nearby. We don’t have a big corporate mission or anything like that. We just open up in the morning, sweep the floor, and get to work. Sometimes the gala gets a bit cramped when a big shipment comes in, and we have to shuffle everything around to make it fit. It’s just us doing what we do, and we don’t try to make the shop look like something it’s not. It’s a simple tile shop with a regular routine and a few familiar faces who drop by for a chat.
