Our workshop is located at Virar Phata, specifically in Gala D3 and D4 of the J.K. Compound. If you know the area, we are tucked away right behind the Novelty Hotel. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but being in Virar East works for us. Inside the galas, it’s mostly the smell of grease and the sound of engineering tools. We handle a lot of print-related machinery parts and repairs. It gets pretty loud when everything is running at once. The floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or oil, which is pretty standard for a place like ours. We’ve got a small team, and most of the guys have been here since we first opened these doors. We don’t have any big signs or flashy lights. Usually, people find us because they heard from someone else about the work we do. Lunch usually happens right there at the desks or out by the gate if the weather is decent. It’s a tight space with a lot of heavy equipment squeezed in. Sometimes we have to move three things just to get to one machine. That’s just the way it goes when you’re busy. We stay focused on the mechanical side of things, making sure the rollers and gears are all aligned properly. It’s a lot of manual effort and getting our hands dirty every single day. We just keep our heads down and finish the jobs.
