You can find us at Shop No 6 inside the Om Guru Ashish Apartment building. We are right on the border between Ambernath and Badlapur. It’s a busy little area with a lot of people moving in and out. Our company is called Ossum Facilities & Real Estate Management Private Limited. Even though the name sounds a bit long, we are really just a small shop operation. We manage buildings and look after various real estate tasks for folks in the neighborhood. The shop isn't very big, so things can get a bit crowded when we have a lot of maintenance staff coming through or when we are sorting out rent collections. We have a few cupboards for our records and a small desk where we do all our typing. It’s a very hands-on job. One minute we might be talking about a leak in a flat, and the next we are looking at a sales contract. We don't have a marketing team to make us look polished. We just wear our regular clothes and talk to people like they are our neighbors, because usually they are. Working in the Ambernath-Badlapur area means we see a lot of middle-class families looking for a place to stay. We try to keep things simple for them. It is honest work and it keeps us on our toes every day. We don't make big promises; we just try to manage the properties as best as we can.
