If you know Bhiwandi, you know Reti Bunder Road is always packed with trucks and heavy vehicles. It’s a dusty, noisy place because of all the warehouses and the sand trade, but it’s the right place for a construction firm to be. We are right in the thick of it. Our office is simple, with tiled floors and a few fans to keep the heat away. We spend most of our time dealing with the logistics of moving materials around Thane and the neighboring villages. There’s always a lot of shouting and activity outside, but inside we just try to keep the books in order and the plans on track. Kalher has grown a lot, and we’ve been part of that growth in our own small way. We don't have any polished brochures or fancy sales pitches. We just talk to people face-to-face and get the work done. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from morning until late evening. Some days are tougher than others, but that’s just how it goes in this industry. If you come by the office, don't mind the noise from the trucks outside; it’s just part of life here.
