Modi Impex

Modi Impex is over at Plot No. 1 in the Modi Complex, which is inside the Waco Radio Compound in the Industrial Area. It’s a bit of a specific spot to find if you haven't been here before. The compound itself has a lot of history. Our space is functional and mostly filled with crates and boxes waiting to go out. We handle a lot of importing and exporting, so there is always paperwork piled up on the desks. The office is small and usually a bit cluttered with samples and shipping documents. We don't have a big sign outside. Most people who come here already know us. The industrial area can be a bit rough around the edges, with some potholes in the road and plenty of dust, but it’s where we belong. We start our day early to check the night’s emails and see what’s arrived at the port. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy. We have a small crew, and we’ve worked together for years. In the afternoons, we might sit outside for a bit if the weather is okay. We don't really do much marketing or anything like that. People find us through word of mouth mostly. It’s just a basic operation. We make sure the orders are processed and the logistics are handled. That’s about it for our daily life here. We just keep moving things from one place to another and making sure the records stay straight and nothing gets lost in transit.
