Modern Hair Cutting Salon

Modern Hair Cutting Salon has been around for quite a bit at Dutta Apartment on Ambedkar Road. We are in Kalyan City, near the Tekri Kabristan, which is a well-known landmark for anyone living around here. The name says modern, but the shop is actually quite traditional and straightforward. We do not have any of those fancy decorations you see in the big malls. It is just a few chairs, some sharp scissors, and mirrors on the wall. The building itself is an older one, and you can tell by the way the floor looks. Ambedkar Road is always full of vehicles and people walking to the market, so there is plenty of noise coming in from the street. We usually have a news channel running on a small television in the corner so people have something to look at while they wait. The chairs are the old-fashioned heavy kind that you do not see much of anymore. Most of our regulars are men from the nearby apartments who just want a quick trim or a shave before they head to work. We start early in the morning and keep going until the evening. There is usually a bit of a wait on Sunday mornings because that is when everyone decides they need a haircut at the same time. It is a humble place, but it serves the people living around Dutta Apartment just fine every single week.
