You can find us at Jai Deep Park on Majiwada Road in Thane. Our specific spot is A-1/701. Being in an SEZ group means we have a lot of specific rules to follow, so our desks are usually piled high with various forms and government papers. Thane is a crowded place, and the commute to Majiwada can be a real struggle some mornings, but we’ve been at this location for a long time. It’s a residential-style building, so it doesn't feel like those cold, glass office towers you see in Bombay. We handle the administrative side of the special economic zone projects. It’s mostly coordinating with different departments and making sure all the clearances are in order. We don't really have a big public-facing office because most of our work is behind the scenes. We have a small kitchen where we make tea, and that’s usually where we discuss what needs to be done for the day. It’s a simple way of working. We aren't looking to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We just want to get the files processed and keep the projects on track. Most of the staff has been with us for years, so we know how to handle the busy periods when the deadlines get close. It’s just a regular office life here in Thane, trying to stay organized and productive every day.
