If you head down Lane No. 3 on Namdeo Path in Dombivli East, you’ll find our little office at Akshay Sagar Society. We are in unit 104. It’s a decent neighborhood, mostly families and small shops around Gograswadi. We’ve been part of the Kalyan-Thane area for a good bit now. Merle Infra isn't a massive company with hundreds of employees, but we stay pretty active. Most of our days are spent coordinating with workers and making sure materials arrive where they’re supposed to go. It’s a lot of phone calls and messy spreadsheets. The office is often filled with the smell of tea and the sound of the ceiling fan. We don't have a receptionist or fancy furniture. It's just us working hard to keep things on track. Living and working in Maharashtra means dealing with the rain and the humidity, but we don't let that stop us. We know most of the neighbors, and they know what we do. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when several projects are happening at once, but we manage. We aren't interested in being flashy. We just want to finish the job and move on to the next one. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We like the local feel of being tucked away in a society building instead of a big office block. It keeps us grounded and connected to the street.
