Mathroo Engg. Works

Our workshop is located on the first floor of the building in Vijay Nagari, right on Ghodbandar Road. Mathroo Engg. Works has been operating out of this space in Thane West for some time now. It’s a busy area and the noise from the road usually blends in with the sound of our machines. We handle a lot of metalwork and small engineering jobs that people bring in. The shop floor is usually covered in metal shavings and there is always a smell of oil in the air. We have a few lathes and drills that have seen better days but they still work perfectly fine if you know how to handle them. Being on the first floor makes moving heavy stuff a bit of a challenge, but we’ve figured out our own ways to manage. It isn't a massive factory, just a practical space where we get things fabricated. Most of the time, we are busy with local orders or fixing parts for bigger machines. We don’t really spend much time on the computer; most of the work happens with a wrench or a torch in hand. The guys here have been with me for a while and they know their stuff. We don’t talk much while working, just get the measurements right and finish the piece. Ghodbandar Road is always packed with trucks, so getting materials delivered can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We just keep our heads down and get the work out the door.
