Omkar Corporation

We’ve been at Plot No. 501 for a while now. It’s inside A-14 in the Happy Valley Homes area. Tikujiniwadi Rd. gets pretty crowded in the evenings, especially with people heading home or out for food. Our spot is usually quiet enough to get things done, though. Omkar Corporation is just the name on the door and the letterhead we use. Most days it’s just the usual routine of answering phones and looking at papers. The stairs up to the office can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes. We have some chairs and a few desks. It isn't anything fancy, just a place to work. You can see the trees from the window if you look at the right angle. Sometimes the tea guy comes around 11, and that’s a good break. Living and working around here in Thane has its ups and downs with the traffic, but we are used to it by now. The address looks long on envelopes, but once you find Happy Valley, it’s easy to spot us. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. It’s mostly about finishing the day’s tasks and making sure the files are in the right drawers. There’s a lot of dust that comes in from the road, so we spend a fair bit of time cleaning the glass. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the day's work before we head home.
