Karnik Brothers

Karnik Brothers is located at A-124 in the Amar Gyan building, right on LBS Road. If you know that road, you know how the traffic is—always a line of trucks and cars making noise right outside our door. We’ve been operating from this spot for a while now, and the office has a very lived-in feel to it. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so there isn't any of that stiff corporate talk you find in the newer parts of the city. We have our desks pushed together, and there’s usually a lot of talk about who is handling which task for the day. The building itself, Amar Gyan, is a sturdy place, though the hallways can be a bit dark. We do our work, which involves a lot of back-and-forth on the phone and checking on various bits of stock or orders. Sometimes we have to move boxes around to find what we need, as space is always a bit tight. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby; you just walk in and you're right there with us. It’s honest work, and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We appreciate the people who have been coming to us for years. In the evenings, when the road gets even busier with people heading home, we usually start wrapping things up, filing away the day’s notes, and making sure everything is locked up tight before we head out ourselves.
