Gurukul Private College

Our college is tucked away in the Evershine area of Kandivali East in Mumbai. We are at 27/27, right near the Gundecha School and Thakur Villa. If you know the neighborhood, it’s a pretty recognizable spot. Being in Mumbai means space is always tight, but we make the most of what we have in our building. The streets around us are often packed with people and cars, especially in the afternoon. We have several classrooms where our students gather for their lectures. The walls are painted a simple color and we have the usual desks and chairs you’d expect. It’s a local place where most of the students come from the nearby residential complexes. We don’t have a massive campus with fields, but we have enough room for the classes we run. Sometimes the humidity makes things a bit sticky, but the fans keep the air moving well enough. People usually find us by word of mouth in the Kandivali area. It feels like a neighborhood institution because we’ve been here for a good amount of time. The staff knows most of the regular faces who walk in and out every day. We just focus on keeping the schedule running on time and making sure the students have their books and materials. It’s a very grounded sort of place without any pretense or fancy corporate vibes. We keep the doors open and the lights on for whoever needs to be here.
