Forty Niners

We have been here at Abha Apartment on Phadke Road for a while now. Dombivli East is a busy place, and being in Shop No 08 means we see a lot of people passing by every single day. The morning starts early here when the shops start opening up and the noise of the street begins. It is just a small spot, nothing too fancy, but it gets the job done. People who live around Thane know how crowded Phadke Road can get in the evenings. We spend most of our time just making sure everything is ready before the rush hits. It gets hot in the summer, and the rains are something else entirely, but we stay open regardless. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to say hello or talk about the weather while we are working. We don't have a big office or anything like that. It is just the staff and the counters. We've seen the buildings change around us over the years, yet Abha Apartment still feels like home. Working in a place like this means you know the regulars by their names or at least their usual orders. It is not like those big malls where everything is cold and quiet. Here, there is always some noise from the traffic or kids playing nearby. We just keep our heads down and do what we need to do. It’s a simple life in a busy part of town, and we like it that way.
