Our setup is a bit different because we work out of Flat 206 in the A-Wing of Kavya Residency. If you know the Kasarvadavali area in Thane, we are right behind the old Hypercity Mall. It’s a residential building, which makes for a pretty quiet work environment compared to a typical commercial block. We handle building solutions, which basically means we spend our time figuring out the technical side of construction and maintenance. Since it is an OPC, it is a small, focused operation. We have turned the main room of the flat into our primary workspace with a few computers and a lot of files. It’s nice because we can make our own lunch in the kitchen and don’t have to deal with the typical office building rush. The balcony looks out over the neighborhood, and it’s a good place to take a break when things get stressful. Being near the mall is handy for grabbing supplies or meeting people for a quick coffee. We don’t have any big signs outside or a fancy lobby to show off. It’s just us in here, working through projects and answering emails. It’s a very practical way to run things without all the extra overhead of a big office. We’ve been in this part of Thane for a while now and it suits the way we like to work. It is just a simple place for building technical work.
