Engg Co Ordinator

Our office is up on the third floor, room 301, in Akash Tower. This is part of the Sriprastha Complex on Station Road in Nallasopra West. Being so close to the station means there is a constant flow of people outside, and you can always hear the trains if you listen closely enough. It’s a pretty standard office building with a lot of stairs and a lift that sometimes has a mind of its own. We spend a lot of our time sitting at our desks, looking at files and making calls to get things lined up. As coordinators, our day is mostly about making sure one thing matches up with another, which sounds simple but keeps us busy from morning until evening. The walls are a bit plain, and we have stacks of papers that seem to grow every week. We aren't trying to be some big, polished firm; we are just local folks doing engineering coordination work for the projects that come our way. Sometimes the tea guy comes around and that’s the highlight of the afternoon. Thana is a big area, and Nallasopra has its own pace, which is usually fast and a bit chaotic. We just try to stay organized in the middle of all that. It is a decent place to work, and we know the neighborhood well by now. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to get home before the rush hour gets too bad.
