Datta Meghe College Of Engineering

Our college is located at Plot No. 98 in Sector 3 of Airoli. If you are coming from the railway station, it is either a bit of a walk or a very quick rickshaw ride away. We have been operating in this specific part of Navi Mumbai for many years now. The building is a very familiar sight to the people living in the sector. Inside, the setup is mostly what you would expect from any engineering school. There are rows of classrooms and different labs for the various branches like civil, mechanical, or computer engineering. It is a noisy place when the classes finally let out, with everyone heading toward the canteen or out through the main gate. The teachers here have been around for a long time and they really know the routine inside and out. We do not go for anything that looks too flashy or modern. It is mostly about the books and the practical work done in the workshops. You can often hear the machines running during the middle of the day. We have a lot of students who commute from all over Mumbai and even from further away. The administrative office deals with a massive amount of paperwork every single day, trying to keep things as organized as they can. It is a very functional space. We see the students getting stressed during the finals and then looking relieved when they finish. It’s just the same cycle every single semester.
