Daarshik Plastic

Down in Vasai East, right across from Arrow House in the K.T. Industrial Park, you’ll find our shop, Daarshik Plastic. We are tucked away in Gala Number 1 of the Vasundhara Industrial Estate. It’s a busy area in Gorai Pada where there is always someone loading a truck or moving pallets around. We work with plastic, which means there’s usually a specific smell in the air and the sound of machines running throughout the day. It’s not a quiet job. We have our molds and our raw materials piled up, and sometimes the space feels a bit tight, but we manage. Being in Phase I means we are surrounded by other small businesses doing similar hard work. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. Usually, it's just us making sure the production line stays on track. If a machine breaks down, we fix it ourselves or call someone nearby. It’s a local way of doing things. The summers here get really humid, which makes the work on the floor pretty tiring, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve been in this spot for a bit, seeing different neighbors come and go. People know they can find us here if they need plastic components or help with a specific order. We try to keep our head down and just get the work finished. It's a simple, honest way to earn a living in the Vasai industrial zone.
