D X Family Restaurant

Titwala is a busy place, especially around the Ganpati Mandir Road. Our restaurant, D X Family Restaurant, is right there in the Om Dattatra Dham building, shop number 22. We’re directly across from Kedia Collection, so we see a lot of people shopping before they come in to eat. Running a family restaurant in Thane means you have to be ready for the lunch rush and the dinner crowd every single day. The kitchen is small but we make it work. We spend a lot of time prep cooking in the mornings, chopping onions and getting the gravies ready. It’s a lot of heat and noise back there. We have regular families from the neighborhood who have been coming to us for a while. We know what they like to order without them even looking at the menu. The tables are basic and we don't have fancy decorations, just a clean place to have a meal. Sometimes the street outside gets very crowded with people going to the temple, which makes the whole area feel very alive. We just keep the water bottles cold and the food hot. It’s a simple life, just running the shop and making sure everyone gets fed. We don’t have a website or anything like that, we just rely on people walking by and seeing the sign. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do and it keeps us busy.
