Citizen Restaurant

Citizen Restaurant is located at A-2/103 in Shanti Nagar, specifically in Sector No. 4. It’s a small place, nothing too fancy. We have a few tables and chairs that have seen better days, but they serve the purpose. The kitchen is the heart of the place. It’s always busy with someone chopping vegetables or stirring a big pot. We don't have a massive menu. We just cook what we know how to make well. Most of our customers are locals who live in the neighborhood. They come in for a quick meal or to take something home for their families. We know most of them by name. The place can get a bit loud during the lunch hour when everyone is talking at once. We don't have air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that hum. It’s a bit worn out, but we keep it clean. We aren't looking to win any awards. We just want to make sure people leave with a full stomach. Sometimes we run out of a certain dish early, and we just have to tell people we're sorry. That’s just how it goes with fresh food. We start prep work early in the morning before the sun comes up. It’s a long day on your feet, but we like the community here. It’s a steady life in Shanti Nagar. We just keep the stove going and wait for the next customer to walk in.
