Chakh Le Family Dhaba

Chakh Le Family Dhaba is located in Khadakpada, Kalyan City. We are right opposite Venkatesh Hospital and not far from Sai Paradise. Being in Thane, it’s a busy area. My brother and I run the place together. We wanted to keep it like a traditional dhaba where anyone can feel comfortable. The hospital across the street means we get people coming in at all sorts of hours. It can be a bit chaotic sometimes, especially when it’s raining and everyone wants to crowd inside for a hot meal. We have big fans and simple benches for people to sit on. The kitchen is the heart of the place, and you can always hear the whistling of the pressure cookers and the clinking of ladles. We do all the shopping ourselves at the local markets to make sure we have what we need. It's a lot of manual work, lifting heavy bags of rice and cleaning up at night. We don't have a manager or a fancy billing system. We just use a notebook and a small cash box. The food is what you’d expect from a family-run dhaba. We don't try to be something we’re not. It’s just a place to sit down, eat a full meal, and relax for a bit before heading back out into the traffic. We’ve been here for a few years now and the local crowd seems to appreciate that we’re consistent and always open.
