Chaitrali Salon & Spa

Chaitrali Salon & Spa is located at Shop Number 2 in the Ramchandra Aashirwad Building. We are right on Mumbra Devi Road at Devi Chowk in Dombivli West. It’s a very busy intersection, so there is always a lot of noise from the rickshaws and people shouting outside. The shop has two parts, really. One side is for the hair stuff, with the mirrors and the chairs, and then we have a small area in the back for the spa treatments. It is a bit tight, especially when we have three or four people in at the same time. I tried to make the spa area a bit quieter with a curtain, but you can still hear the traffic from the chowk. We aren't a big luxury place with fancy robes and cucumber water. It’s more of a practical spot where you come to get your hair trimmed or a quick massage because your back hurts from work. I’ve lived in Dombivli for a long time, so I know how people here just want something reliable and not too expensive. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the sign outside is a little faded from the rain, but the equipment works fine. Near Nupur Hall, it's a good landmark for people to find us. I usually have a radio playing some old songs in the background to drown out the street noise. It’s just me and a couple of others working here, trying to keep things moving every day.
