You can find us at Shahapur Number 20 inside the Kalptaru Shopping Complex. We’re pretty close to Dr. Ashish Patil Hospital, so people use that as a landmark when they’re trying to find us for the first time. The shop isn't very big, and most of the space is taken up by old monitors and keyboards waiting to be fixed. There’s usually a faint smell of solder in the air because someone is always working on a motherboard in the back. Shahapur is a busy area, but inside the complex, it’s a bit more relaxed. We get a lot of students and people from the neighborhood bringing in laptops that won’t turn on or have cracked screens. I spend a lot of my time cleaning out fans and trying to recover files for folks who forgot to back things up. It’s honest work and it gets frustrating when a part doesn't arrive on time, but that’s the way it goes. The shelves are a bit disorganized with cables tangling together, but I generally know where everything is. We don't have a fancy waiting area, just a couple of plastic chairs by the door. People come in, drop off their machines, and we call them when the job is done. It’s a regular shop for regular people who just need their computers to work so they can get back to their own jobs.
