Arun Karande

Shivai Nagar is one of those places in Thane where you can still find a bit of quiet if you look for it. Arun Karande is located at 40/283 in the Shri Samarth Soc., which is a pretty well-known spot around here. I have lived in Thane-400606 for years, so setting up the work here felt like the natural thing to do. The office is really just a converted space in the society, nothing fancy at all. You will find a couple of desks, some old cupboards for files, and a lot of pens that I keep losing. My day usually involves a lot of phone calls and meeting people who live nearby or in the neighboring societies. It is not the kind of place where you need to wear a suit. Most of the time, I am in a regular shirt and trousers, just trying to get through the to-do list. The society is nice, though the parking can be a bit of a headache during the rainy season. People just walk in when they see the light on. We do not really have set hours; if I am there, I am working. I like it this way because it feels more personal than those big corporate offices in the business parks. It is just me and maybe one helper when things get really busy. We handle whatever comes our way, from small local tasks to bigger stuff that takes a few months. It is just a regular day in Thane for us.
