We are Buildcrown Mep Services Consultant Llp, based out of Vighnaharta CHS in Sector 1. It is a quiet residential society, which is a nice change from the chaotic industrial sites we usually visit. Our office is in B 202. It feels more like a home turned into a workspace than a cold corporate office. MEP stands for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing, so our life revolves around pipes, wires, and air conditioning ducts. There are always blueprints spread across the main table, and someone is usually arguing about where a circuit breaker should go. We don't have a receptionist or a coffee machine that makes lattes. We just have a small kettle and a lot of grit. The walls are a bit plain, and we have folders stacked up in every corner. Dealing with consultants and contractors takes a lot of patience. We spend hours checking calculations and making sure the designs actually work in the real world. It is messy work. Sometimes we come back from a site covered in dust and just sit down to finish the reports. Sector 1 is a decent place to be, though finding parking for our bikes can be a headache in the evenings. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees. It is just a handful of us who know how to read a drawing and fix a problem. We keep it simple and focus on the technical stuff that keeps buildings running correctly for the people inside.
