Bhavins Dance Academy

If you go to Dr Moose Road in Thane West, you’ll find us in the Deepak Building. We are at Office No 12, right across from the Boating Club. It's a good location because of the view, even if we're mostly looking at the floor while we practice. The academy is where we spend most of our evenings. We have different classes going on. Some days it’s loud with music and other days it’s just the sound of feet hitting the floor. We aren't some high-end studio with mirrors on every single inch of the wall. It’s a practical space. We’ve got some fans going to keep it cool because it gets sweaty fast. I’ve been teaching here for a bit. We see a lot of students coming from all over Thane. Some are good, some just want to move around a little. We don’t mind. It’s about getting people to enjoy the rhythm. Sometimes the music bothers the neighbors in the building, so we try to keep the volume at a reasonable level. The entrance is a bit narrow, so don’t miss it. We spend a lot of time planning routines on the small desk in the corner. It's a busy life. Between managing the schedule and showing steps, there isn't much downtime. But it’s what we do. It’s a real place with real people trying to learn something new every day.
