Avalon Family Salon & Spa

Avalon Family Salon & Spa is situated on the ground floor of Likhite House. We are on Phadke Cross Road, which intersects with Maulana Azad Road in Dombivli East. It is a very busy part of town, and being near Axis Bank means there are always people walking past our door. The shop has been here for a while, and we have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Inside, we have set up different areas for hair services and spa treatments. It is a family place, so we get everyone from children to grandparents coming in. The floor is made of tile that is easy to sweep, which is good because we are constantly cleaning up hair. We have some shelves where we keep all the bottles of shampoo and cream that we use during the day. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low, but we manage to get things done. The street outside is usually crowded with hawkers and commuters heading to the station. We keep the door closed to keep out the noise and the heat from the sun. It is a practical space where we spend most of our waking hours. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that; we just open the shop and do the work that needs to be done for whoever walks in. Sometimes we have a little chat about the local news while we work.
