If you take the train to Dombivli East and walk out, you’ll find us pretty quickly. We’re right at Ratna Niwas on Bhaji Market Road. The market is always a bit of a mess with vendors shouting and the smell of fresh vegetables everywhere. Anukool Elite is basically opposite the station, so we get a lot of people who are just tired from the commute and need a place to crash or sit for a while. The building isn't the newest on the block, and the stairs can be a bit steep if you're carrying heavy bags. We spend our mornings cleaning the lobby and talking to the shopkeepers next door. It’s a very local vibe here in Thane. There’s no big sign with flashing lights, just our name on the wall. Sometimes the noise from the station platforms reaches us, especially when the fast trains go through. We handle everything ourselves, from the laundry to the front desk. It’s not a polished operation, just a family-run kind of thing where we know the quirks of the plumbing and which windows rattle when the wind blows. People stay here because it’s convenient for the market and the trains. We don't offer much else besides a roof and a bed. It’s a busy life being so close to the tracks, but we’ve gotten used to the constant hum of the city. Most of our guests are regulars who know exactly what to expect when they walk in.
