A.K.Printers

You can find A.K.Printers at number 5 in the U.K.I.E. section. We are right near the Fitwell company and just across from Oswal Park. If you walk into our shop, the first thing you will notice is the smell of ink and the sound of the machines running. We have got stacks of paper everywhere, from thick cardstock to thin flyers. It is a messy business, and most of us usually have some ink on our hands by noon. We do not have a fancy showroom. It is mostly just the presses and some worktables where we trim and fold things. People from the neighborhood come in with all sorts of requests, and we do our best to get them printed. Sometimes a machine jams and we have to spend an hour fixing it, which can be frustrating. We are not trying to be the biggest print shop in town, just a reliable place where you can get your stuff done. The lighting isn't great, but it is enough to see what we are doing. The main thing is just getting the job finished and out the door. It is noisy and a bit crowded with all the boxes of finished jobs waiting to be picked up. We have been in this spot for a while now, and we know most of the people who walk through the door. It is just us, the paper, and the ink, day in and day out.
