Akshada Beauty Parlour

Akshada Beauty Parlour is right here in Panchmukhi Apartment. If you know Old Belapur Road in Thane, you probably passed us. We are near the TMC School, so there is always a lot of noise when the kids get out. Sometimes we just sit by the door when it’s quiet in the afternoon. The apartment building has been here for years. It’s a busy spot but we like it that way. People from the neighborhood stop by to say hello even if they don't need anything done. We usually open up early before the sun gets too hot. The road outside can get dusty with all the traffic going towards the main parts of Thane. Our space is small but we keep it tidy. You can find us easily because of the school nearby. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit over the last few seasons. Most days are just regular work days, nothing too fancy going on. We handle the usual stuff people need. It’s mostly locals who come in. The building is easy to spot once you get onto the Old Belapur stretch. We spend a lot of time organizing the chairs and mirrors. It feels like home after being here so long. There is a specific rhythm to this part of Thane. Sometimes the electricity acts up but that’s just how it is here. We just keep the door open for a breeze. It’s a simple routine we follow every day without fail.
