Sundram Fasteners

We have been operating out of No. 47/ 2 on Poonnamallee High Road for a good while now. Velappanchavadi is our home base, and it is where all the work happens. We make fasteners like bolts and nuts. The place is usually pretty noisy because of the machines running, but that is just how a factory is. It is not a fancy office at all. Most of us just wear our regular work clothes and we often end up with grease on our hands by noon. The location is right on the main road, so it is easy to find if you are driving through the area. We have stacks of steel sitting around in various corners. Sometimes the traffic outside gets really loud, but we are used to it by now. We just focus on getting the orders ready. There are different sizes of fasteners all over the place. We keep track of everything in some old ledgers and sometimes on the computer when it is working like it should. If you walk in, you will see boxes waiting to be loaded onto the delivery trucks. It is a busy spot. Most of the guys here have worked together for a long time, so we know the machines well. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we spend the whole afternoon fixing it. That is just how it goes here. We do not have a big reception area or anything. It is just a desk and the sound of metal. It is honest work.
