Yomo Industries

Out at Plot No. 91 in Kanniyaman Nagar, over in the Vadaperumbakam area of Madhavaram, you'll find Yomo Industries. We've been in this spot for a while now. The building isn't anything special, just a standard industrial unit with a big door for the deliveries. Inside, it's usually a bit of a mess with parts and tools scattered around where they were last used. We don't have a lot of rules about where people sit or how they do things, as long as the work gets finished by the end of the shift. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad. We do a bit of everything here, depending on what's needed. Sometimes it’s assembly work, other times it’s just sorting through stuff. It can get pretty loud when the fans are running to keep the heat down. We don't have a website or any of that, we just rely on people knowing where we are. It’s a bit dusty, and the tea we make in the morning is probably the highlight of the day for some of us. We just try to keep things moving and stay busy. If you drop by, you’ll probably find us in the middle of a job, but we’ll stop to talk if we can. It’s just a normal life at a normal workplace in Madhavaram. We really hope the rain doesn't leak through the roof too much this year.
