Sfl Autolec Division

This unit is located at B- 32 in the Sipcot Industrial Complex. It’s an industrial area, so there are a lot of trucks and heavy machinery moving around all the time. We work on the electrical side of things for vehicles and machines. It’s a lot of wiring, alternators, and starters. The building is a standard industrial shed like the others on this block. Inside, we have our workstations and testing benches set up. It’s a lot of technical work, but we keep it pretty simple. We take the parts in, look at what’s wrong, and fix them. Sometimes it’s a quick job and other times it takes a whole afternoon. We’ve been part of this complex for a good while now. The team here just gets on with the work. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we’re ordering supplies. Most of the day is spent with tools in hand. It gets hot in the summer because of the roof, but we’re used to it. People from other companies in Sipcot often drop by when they have a problem with their fleet. We just take a look and tell them if it’s fixable. It’s an honest way to earn a living. We keep things organized so we can find our tools when we need them. That’s about all there is to say about us. We're just here doing the repairs day in and day out, making sure things work.
