We are located at 193 Panchwati on Bhatar Road. Welcome Novelty & Gift Articles has been a part of this street for quite some time now. It’s a good location because Bhatar Road is always busy with people going to and from work. We have a lot of different novelty items, the kind of things that kids love and adults find useful for small presents. The shop front is a bit narrow, so you have to keep your eyes open or you might drive right past us. Inside, we’ve used every inch of wall space to hang things up. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons because the sun shines right into the doorway. We have a small radio that we keep playing in the background to keep things from being too quiet when there are no customers. Most of our items are just regular things people need for daily life or small celebrations. We don't go in for anything too expensive or high-end. We like to keep things affordable for the families who live in the Panchwati area. Sometimes the delivery truck blocks the road for a minute while we unload, and the neighbors complain, but that’s just part of life here. We’ve known some of our customers since they were small children, and now they bring their own kids in to see the toys and gifts we have. It’s just a normal, local shop.
