Ashok Silk Mills is located on Ring Road, right near the Kinnary Cinema. Being near a cinema means there's always a lot of activity around us. We've been in this location for many years. It's a busy part of the textile district where everyone seems to be in a hurry. Our building is filled with the sound of looms and the smell of raw silk and thread. It’s not a quiet office environment. We’re a mill, so it’s industrial and loud. We spend our days managing the production of various fabrics. It’s a lot of watching the threads and making sure the machines are running smooth. We don't have any marketing experts here writing fancy things. We just have people who know how to run the equipment. The space is a bit cramped because we have so much stock and machinery packed in. The Ring Road traffic makes deliveries a bit of a headache sometimes, but we’ve learned to work around it. Most of the folks working here live nearby and have been with us for a long time. We just do our work and don't make a big deal out of it. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most famous. We just want to produce the material that our customers expect from us. It’s a regular job for us. When the day is over, we lock up and do it all again tomorrow.
